Heathland, either Dorset or New Forest, my money's on the former? Good use of the sun though my experience would be that there'd be more colour in that heath, even in winter.

Thanks, Tim! This was taken heading in the direction of the Purbecks, at Holton Lee - you may not be familiar with it. There really was very little colour in the heath, other than the grassy areas and the odd patch of gorse.

Ah, those poppies! I couldn't make up my mind what I thought about them. I think it may be because they're not red - poppies ought to be red....... :))
