E quello che vedi sullo sfondo è il bellissimo Palazzo Pretorio progettato da Arnolfo di Cambio, lo stesso che avrebbe poi edificato il corpo originario di Palazzo Vecchio a Firenze; la tradizione vuole che il grande architetto abbia fatto proprio a San Giovanni le prove generali del suo capolavoro!
