Le tre absidi si distinguono per il rosso dei mattoni che le rivestono e in quella centrale si aprono ai lati due spaziose nicchie con propria finestra romanica e sopra queste sta, profondamente scavata nel muro, una croce greca. Nella cornice strombata del finestrone absidale, si suppone siano raffigurati i profeti maggiori (Isaia, Geremia, Ezechiele, Daniele), mentre la base è occupata dalla scena dell'Annunciazione dell'Arcangelo Gabriele a Maria: particolare attenzione la meritano l'atteggiamento e il volto dell'Annunciata, carico di intensa spiritualità e mistica dolcezza. Ai lati del finestrone quattro semicolonne sovrastate dalle figure dei quattro evangelisti con i loro simboli (da destra Matteo, Marco, Luca, Giovanni).
