Quei "coriandoli" luminosi sullo sfondo, non so come li hai ottenuti ma mi piacciono un sacco , richiamano come forma un po' i tondi del copricapo della maschera ma allo stesso tempo mi rammentano pure un accostamento metallico, direi anche "numismatico" alle vecchie monete, tipo il 50 ed il 100 lire sospese per aria, come un sogno ad occhi aperti, pensa cosa fa la suggestione ed il libero pensiero fotografico).
Detto cio', per come la interpreto io, la foto esprime due momenti cromatici palesemente antitetici, il colore dorato e "ricco di colore" (forse troppo...), mentre il viso ed il corpo rivestito, per quanto visibile, esprimono tonalita' pallide, tenui, atone, oserei dire "fredde" eppure la loro contrapposizione in questa compo, con quel fondale a tondi trasparenti, si lega alla grande, uno strano amalgama che mescola non la foto, ma il pensiero e l'istinto e li fonde in una rappresentazione dai tratti espressivi ed affascinanti dove solo il fondale castano davanti al volto, mi pare "slegarsi" un po' dal contesto generale creando un deciso stacco cromatico, quasi a voler introdurre un momento di stasi e di meditazione nelle quali, la maschera, possa riconoscere se stessa trovando soluzione dentro di se, ai propri (apparenti) pensamenti.
A compendio mi sento di dire solo che e' una splendida fotografia, poi ognuno puo' vederla ed interpretarla in mille modi diversi, sicuramente meglio di come istintivamente, l'ho letta io.

Claudio Vi ringrazio per i vostri interventi, questa tecnica è usata in presenza di luci sullo sfondo agendo con ottiche che permettano una grande apertura del diaframma, in effetti richiamano l'effetto delle helios basta solo posizionarsi vicino al soggetto e sfruttare lo sfocato, quando ho visto le luci sulle volte ho pensato di usarle per un ambientazione un po' diversa per questo ritratto carnevalesco, per i rossi è vero sono molto saturi e si perde il dettaglio.
