Lucky you!! Amazing coastal scenery, of course, the ultrawide really brings out the clouds very well too. |

Thanks, Tim! It was a particularly lovely day to be there, although very windy and we had to choose which of the two bays to be in according to the movements of a school group! It's the first time I've been there since I bought my wide angle lens, so even more fun! |

Thanks very much, Joeb! Ann :)) |

I haven't been anywhere near that whole vicinity since I went digital, so have no photos of it at all! |

I thought of you when I was there and the fact that it would be very difficult/impossible to get there by public transport. If you can get to Poole or somewhere in the vicinity, I would be happy to drive you there sometime! |

It is impossible Ann (I have looked into this, of course) so your offer sounds very tempting. As it is, Poole by bus is a lengthy chunk of a day as it is and getting back is limited to 'normal' hours and trains are just too expensive - I'm not making excuses Ann but for the foreseeable future, I realistically know where I can go and like the past two days, explore areas I've never been to before and revisit others not been to for years. So. I'm hardly short of subjects! |

Ok - that's fine but remember the offer still stands, for anywhere on the Purbecks, for that matter. I could pick you up from Westbourne, (or Swanage?) if that's easier. I'll leave it with you! |

With good weather as rare as hen's teeth right now, but maybe in the summer and buses fron Bournemouth are very late on Fridays and Saturdays, so then it may be possible. I just hate being in this situation and relying on others, whereas you might look upon it all as a fun photo-meet. Many buses could be cut this coming year including that late night Bournemouth Salisbury, so I'm using the in danger ones as much as I can now in case I can't even get to places I want to now. It's really a rather horrid position to be in! |

No pressure, Tim. I understand where you are coming from - one of the friends I regularly meet up with on a Wednesday is in the same position and hates that she is unable to take her turn driving. However, I'd love to have a photo meet with you one day and if I happen to be the one doing the driving, that's fine with me. |

It's this political scenario where the 'haves' get more and the 'have nots' cruelly get less and less - and it's not their fault and cannot do anything about it! Just about to get myself down to Blashford Lakes for my other annual event - pretending to be a twitcher for the afternoon!! More diversity! And hopefully, less walking than on the previous two days! I need a rest!! Looking forward to the fruits of your labours later. |

Blashford Lakes are lovely - hope you get something good! I'm heading for an ancient church this afternoon! |

Thank you very much, Fabrizio! It's a fabulous coastline! Some of it has changed over recent years due to the ravages of the weather! Ann :)) |
