Ciao Oly, devo dire che mi piace il particolare dell'avvoltoio, non mi piace invece il fatto che tu abbia tagliato la carcassa rendendo impossibile capire che animale sia. Forse dalle corna direi uno gnu. Ne hai una scattata anche con una focale più corta?

Si roberto era uno gnu, che probabilmente era morto per essersi rotto una zampa nel guado del mara. Ho naturalmente altre inquadrature, questa mi piace per il particolare sull'azione dell'avvoltoio.

It was roberto a wildebeest, which was probably dead for having broken a leg in the ford of mara. I naturally have other shots, I like this for the particular action of a vulture.

Ciao Oly, ecco il punto di vista di un novellino come me
Guardando la foto vengo disturbato da tutto ciò che sta dietro ai due avvoltoi, insomma lo sfondo distrae parecchio. Avrei aperto il diaframma il più possibile (credo f/5.6 per il 75-300). Trovo inoltre le luci un pò troppo alte. Per entrambe le cose puoi sempre recuperare qualcosina in PP però! Ultima cosa il fuoco cade sulla carcassa e non sull'avvoltoio, applicherei una MDC selettiva solo sui due uccelli per recuperare qualcosina.
Ad ogni modo complimenti per bellissimo momento colto

Hello Oly is the point of view of a newbie like me
Looking at the photo I am disturbed by all that lies behind the two vultures, in short, the background distracts a lot. I opened the aperture as much as possible (I think for the 75-300 f/5.6). I also find the lights a little too high. For both you can always recover a little bit in PP though! Last thing the focus falls on the housing and not sull'avvoltoio, applicherei a selective MDC on the two birds to retrieve something.

Grazie a tutti per il passaggio. per Esaphoto: innanzi tutto grazie per le tue osservazioni. per quanto riguarda il diaframma purtroppo quello era il diaframma impostato quando siamo arrivati sulla scena e i primi scatti li ho fatti cosi. Ho poi provato a fare altre foto con diaframma tutto aperto ma l'assembramento di avvoltoi si era fatto talmente caotico che non sono più riuscito ad ottenere dei primi piani interessanti

Anche se riconosco corrette le osservazioni di Esaphoto, trovo lo scatto particolarmente bello per il momento colto.
L'espressione dei due avvoltoi è "affascinante" nella sua crudezza e drammaticità.

Considerato che avevi uno zoom e che non hai scattato alla focale minima, il taglio sia della preda che degl'avvoltoi non mi piace, altra opzione un crop più selettivo eliminando l'avvoltoio a dx.
Per il resto ottimo scattodocumento.

Innanzi tutto ottimi documento e momento colto. Qualche luce altina (forse) recuperabile in PP. Riguardo al taglio, sono scelte dell'autore. Probabilmente se avessi compreso anche l'altro avvoltio e un pelino di carcassa, la foto sarebbe stata migliore ma anche così è piacevole da guardare. Complimenti.

First time caught and excellent document. Some light Altina (possibly) recoverable in PP. With regard to cutting, are chosen author. Probably if I had understood the other avvoltio and in a bit of the carcass, the picture would have been better, but even so it's nice to look at. Compliments.
