Un simpatico contradaiolo distribuisce....liquido corroborante alla festa delle Farchie a Fara Filiorum Petri (CH). La festa delle Farchie, che si tiene a Fara Filiorum Petri (CH) il 17 gennaio, ricorrenza di S. Antonio Abate, rievoca la leggenda secondo la quale il santo, in occasione dell'occupazione dei francesi del 1799, apparve trasformando in torce le querce che circondavano il paese, costringendo i francesi ad una rapida e imprevista fuga. Ogni farchia, del diametro di circa un metro e dell'altezza di circa 8 mt. è pesante parecchi quintali. La costruzione richiede grande maestria e il trasporto e la posa grande forza e abilità
