Nella cappella assistono alle celebrazioni tutti gli abitanti del castello: i signori vicino all'altare, i servi al fondo della stanza, separati da una cancellata lignea, come nella cappella del castello di Issogne. Nel presbiterio, il sacerdote celebra rivolto verso l'altare, guardando all'immagine sacra e leggendo il testo liturgico in latino sul messale miniato. Le pareti e la volta della cappella sono affrescate: ai lati l'Annunciazione e la Salita di Cristo al Calvario, nella volta i quattro Evangelisti, tutti riprodotti da uno dei principali monumenti del Quattrocento piemontese, la precettoria di S. Antonio di Ranverso. Sul presbiterio, la volta a crociera è dipinta come un cielo stellato, con voluminosi costoloni dorati e dipinti e chiave di volta con lo stemma dei conti di Challant. A destra, la porta della sacrestia e il lavabo murato hanno cornici architettoniche in stile gotico, calcate da quelle in pietra esistenti nella chiesa di S. Giovanni di Saluzzo, come anche il ciborio sulla parete opposta. Nella stessa chiesa fu copiato il pavimento a piastrelline quadrate bianche, verdi e azzurre, studiato da Alfredo D'Andrade anche nella cappella marchionale del castello di Revello.
