E' il luogo di attesa per quanti devono avere udienza nella sala del trono. Le pareti sono dipinte ad imitare una tappezzeria in tessuto, su due lati corrono panche dall'alto dossale in noce intagliato, copiate da mobili quattrocenteschi del castello di Issogne. La porta di entrata è munita di bussola in legno, intagliata a pergamene e intrecci di archi gotici; il camino porta lo stemma degli Challant, come nel castello di Fénis. Anche il soffitto ha modello valdostano ed è scompartito in fitti riquadri ornati al centro da una stella. La sala, come anche quella del trono e la camera da letto, fu gravemente danneggiata durante un bombardamento nel 1943: tutti gli arredi fissi e mobili e le decorazioni sono stati rifatti nel dopoguerra riproducendo quelli originari. Le lumiere pendenti dal soffitto, portanti candele o lumi ad olio, sono arredi diffusi nelle dimore signorili della fine del XV secolo. Questa ha tre bracci che riproducono draghi ispirati a miniature medievali. Fu realizzata da Giuseppe Guaita, fabbro originario di Trino Vercellese, che per numerosi anni condusse la Bottega del Ferro al Borgo Medievale, sita al piano terra dell'Ospizio dei Pellegrini.
