Ground lines are the essence of this shot.

SorrisoComplimenti, Wainer

Very nice: it enhances rolling hills and characteristic features of the place; very nice and balanced in particular the composition with the profile of the olive (I think) to center stage in the background and on the right the group of house and solitary tree.
:-) Congratulations, Wainer

In the composition I actually tried to represent, in a different way from the usual places where I found myself taking overo the beautiful Val d'Orcia, making the choice to use the 40-150 at 58mm to bring out the details.
Also the photo idea was to highlight the geometric shapes "hence the title" that results starting from the triangle "cut that I have deliberately given" on the top right of the mountain, up to the lower left where the soil it forms a second; I liked the other forms "geometric" that develop in the shot.
Thank you Wainer of acceptable comment, where; He managed to decipher the spirit of the shot .. :-) :-)

Ciao Agata

Fine ground lines highlighted in this shot that lead the eye to get lost far ...

Molto bella comunque composizione.
Ciao

Hello Andrea, it will be because I'm Toscano, maybe because quese zono me crazy, maybe because I love the style of Franco Fontana and his photos, I find this very beautiful your shot. To be a little picky I would close some of the hills in the distance, in my opinion are overexposed.
Very beautiful composition anyway.
Hello

I thank you for the welcome maluc comment, the Val d'Orcia is a wonderful thing, for me the peace of mind, fortunately do not live far away and when I can I go.
When I'm shooting I relax, wrapped not even feel the noise, silence, other vote is heard only in the distance some noise of tractor working the land; then the colors will fill your eyes "you clean up from the gray city" ..
Truly a spectacle of nature a happy oasis "we hope to remain so" .... :-)
Greetings Andrea :-)

Beautiful contrast between the parties in the shade and those enlightened. I love the line on a sunny hill in the foreground.
Greetings Gian Carlo

Stefania:-P

The composition is wonderful for the tangle of lines and especially for the light and shadow (a truly brilliant pdr). Also splendid colors ... The scenery is lovely ... Really great! (Despite the spectacular and indisputable beauty of the other photos of this gallery it is one of my favorites).
A greeting. Stefania :-P
