quelle poche che conosco della Arbus tendono ad esaltare la diversità e la perversione tramite la raffigurazione del volto e del corpo nella sua interezza. tu ne hai estrapolato una parte, le gambe, riuscendo comunque ad essere altrettanto schietto. Splendido omaggio, in un vibrante e potente bianconero. una foto con una gran progettualità, bravissimo

Ti ringrazio il tuo commento mi rende davvero orgoglioso. Il mio proposito era proprio quello di avere un richiamo alla Arbus ovviamente non emularla proprio per questo ho cercato di calcare sul discorso angoscia usando solo una parte di corpo tra l'altro quella di un manichino proprio per il suo essere umano e no allo stesso tempo. Un po quello che evocava alla mente un disabile fisico/mentale nella borghesia degli anni 20-30

A primo impatto sembrano gambe umane e la scena si fa inquietante. Poi si scorgono gli altri elementi, disordinati e in contrasto tra loro.
Aumenta un po' la tensione.
Lo sguardo torna sulle gambe, ma sono finte i no?

grazie dell'invito. Prima di tutto apprezzo molto che qualcuno abbia una cultura fotografica. Quando tenevo i corsi di fotografia al fotoclub uno dei miei compiti era insegnare anche storia della fotografia e proporre immagini di grandi fotografi/e della storia. La Arbus ha portato alla vista di tutti un mondo inquietante e sommerso per nulla apprezzato dalla borghesia, di cui ella faceva parte, che non voleva quasi riconoscere che, oltre al mondo della propria agiatezza, potessero esistere altri universi così inquietanti ed addirittura paurosi. In fotografia molto è stato " fotografato " per cui è difficile proporre qualcosa di nuovo, ma tu sei riuscito, seppure non copiando, a trasmettere una sensazione uguale a quella trasmesse
dalle immagini della Arbus. Seppur difficile, continuerei nella ricerca sul tema. Complimenti. Ti raccomando solo di non fare la stessa fine. Sai che la Arbus, seppur anche forse inconsciamente, abbia partecipato emotivamente alla sua ricerca, motivo per il quale si sia consumata nell'animo sino all'autodistruzione depressiva.
P.S.: oltre al resto sono anch'io nato Canonista.

Questa la reputo la mia unica fotografia Buona a essere sincero devo tutto al libro della Sontag. Quando qualcuno cerca consigli io spingo sempre alla lettura della storia e dei grandi che l'hanno fatta. Penso che la tecnica sia solo un aspetto secondario, l'importante sono le idee e per realizzarle reputo indispensabile conoscerne la storia.

Faccio fatica a collegare lo scatto alla Arbus..,ma lo scatto nel complesso e'ben composto con quell'aria tetra che l'avvolge.Un buon e bello scatto
