Quello nella foto è il Trabocco Turchino da poco ricostruito dopo che l'originale è stato distrutto da una mareggiata nel luglio 2014. Spunta quindi nuovamente all'estrema punta del promontorio, sopra un gruppo di scogli, un trabocco, una strana macchina da pesca, tutta composta di tavole e di travi, simili ad un ragno colossale , come scrisse D'Annunzio nel "Trionfo della morte" . Lungo la costa teatina se ne trovano ancora una decina , molti trasformati in ristorante , dove si cucina direttamente il pescato del trabocco
