Lauraz, condivido quello che dice Paolo e specifico ulteriormente.
Macchina e lente in af-s sono veloci e perforamenti ma in af-c NON si riescono ad avere buoni risultati con i cani. O meglio... se il cane non è particolarmente veloce e se il contrasto è elevato qualche scatto lo porti a casa altrimenti porti a casa solo frustrazione. La X-t2, che ho avuto, fa un po' meglio rispetto alla X-t10 ma a mio avviso non è sufficiente per questi scatti. In tutta onestà non me la sento di consigliarti questo tipo di accoppiata per i cani in movimento.
Molto meglio il 50-140 ma assolutamente abbinato a x-t2, x-t20 o x-pro2. Altrimenti lascia perdere....
Per il resto la lente è splendida.. una delle migliori che ho posseduto!

Da parte mia posso dirti che l'af in singolo delle due ammiraglie Fuji è praticamente perfetto, nel senso che se si sbagliano foto non è colpa della macchina.
Anche in af continuo con le 5 impostazioni a disposizione si riescono ad ottenere buoni risultati, specialmente se conosci la direzione di corsa del cane, del tipo quanto viene incontro o quando corre dietro ad un frisbee. In una situazione a movimento errante già le cose si complicano.
Il 55-200 è noto per avere un af un po' lentino, sicuramente con un 50-140 andresti meglio ma direi anche con un 90,anche se perderesti versatilità guadagnando però in leggerezza che vuol dire migliori risultati!
Il mio consiglio è di investire in esperienza ed ottiche: ci vuole tempo.
Più in là vedrai se sostituire la E2 con una T2 (che già comincia a trovarsi ad ottimi prezzi) o con una futura uscita con AF ancora più veloce.
D'altronde l'unica alternativa è la Sony 6500 che non è troppo avanti la Fuji per AF e che deve montare ottiche ff.
Saltare da un marchio all'altro non ha senso e non sopperisce a mancanze tecniche.
Apri magari un topic apposito!
Una prova con il 90 se riesci a trovarlo la farei (tra l'altro lo sto cercando anche io). Quantomeno non è troppo grande e dalla foto di Paolo sembra essere una splendida lente anche se qui c'è anche bravura nella post
