Excellent portrait! one of the few portraits of dogs / animals in general I really like by choice of composition and beautiful colors! And that definition ... and blurry!

Thanks Paul. 90 is in my opinion the best lens Fuji ... If you have not tried it yet you recommend it!

I still have to take it from last year when you put it on sale.
It will be a likely next purchase.
See you soon

Hello, by accident, can you tell me how does this target work with moving dogs?

Lauraz, I answer you.
The lens has a very fast AF but the ability to track a moving object depends on the car body.

Lauraz, I share what Paul says and further specify.
Machine and lens in af-s are fast and drill but in af-c they DO NOT succeed in having good results with the dogs. Or better ... if the dog is not particularly fast and if the contrast is high a few clicks you take it home otherwise you will only be frustrated at home. The X-t2, which I had, is a bit better than the X-t10 but in my opinion it's not enough for these shots. In all honesty, I do not feel comfortable advising you about this kind of pairing for moving dogs.
Much better than 50-140 but absolutely matched to x-t2, x-t20 or x-pro2. Otherwise let it go ....

For the rest the lens is gorgeous .. one of the best I've ever had!

Unfortunately I am at the starting point ... I have a xe2, 18-55 and 50-200. And I bring home a lot of frustration. I gave up the idea of ??taking a reflex because I'm in continuous motion, both me and the dogs I follow, so once I put a 7d with a 70-200 on the fuji. I know a priori that I can not do great things, I have found some good results in af and big ones, among other things I'm not so practical in photography ... but my dilemma is just that, to understand if there is any Fuji a car body more suitable than others (xe2 for me at AF is not really a big one) ...

I do not really agree with Paul when he says sony is no longer fuji with AF-C.
A6500 + 70-200 f / 4 for me in af-c with fast moving dogs and also unpredictable is just another whole planet !!!
On the other hand, it is better fuji and here I agree with Paul in saying that brand changes are always a bath of blood.
I also recommend that you reflect on what kind of photos you are most comfortable with. Certainly, if you have to change the brand the ideal would do it now because you have not invested too much money.
If you have a way to go out with someone who has a little X-T2 or Sony etc. to try it on the occasions you like. It's always very difficult to find someone's goal and I do not advertise; To my own choices ... I see photographers who defend their equipment more than their children! :-D

At home I have one of the first Sony Nex, I took the Fuji under the advice of two resellers ... so I tried. I had already opened a topic ... I also started attending a course, which did not help me at all, indeed, I'm abandoning it because of the low professionalism of those who hold it. In my head, however, the idea is to take a reflex as the second car body. The few results I can get are still disturbed by the tall Iso that I often find myself forced to use.
