at 200mm, 1/400 f/2.8, ISO 640, hand held. London, United Kingdom.

St. James' Park Lake, on a dull winter's morning, (Saturday), before the crowds. The gold Queen Victoria Monument and Buckingham Palace are in the distance, less obscured by foliage in winter. Four Far Eastern tourists, just behind from where I'd walked found much amusement and photo opportunities in the pesky grey squirrel that I had totally ignored. What's more interesting and unusual, between my "wildlife" find and theirs, especially as they had travelled halfway round the world to get here!

A little warm up filtration added in editing.

I'd go for the birds (although I'd get one or two squirrel pics, too, if he were still around once I'd finished! :))

These are great - lovely and sharp against the softer background. I like the visual triangle they form with the fountain and the golden statue, although I'd probably have cloned out the flying crow.

Perfect focus on the birds. I like the way the Seem to stick out from the background. Excellent work as usual, Tim!
