Hello people who are at the center are the subject or at least the first thing on which the eye falls hence the title I think is wrong could for example be "running" .... the white tree seems like a birch and is a bit too luminoso..per the rest seems to me a good composition. I do not comment on converting B / N for all I know less than zero but it seems a good choice in this scene!
Hello Ale.

I think the white tree enhances just saw the title, because the other trees also have some lighter shades. Perhaps giving more contrast would have been better.
But at this point I agree with Ales, the two types that run well were taken, they could become the subject of the picture :-D

I really like the contrast between the two central shafts with runners framed from these, but the camera angle penalizes a little 'because the composition is not disordered but because distracting. Here, however, we are strictly personal view and probably a well-made air would send my reasoning printing. A greeting

I really like the contrast of two trees that frame runners. Nice depth of field.
Try turning off the tree to the left: in my opinion the picture takes on a completely different tone. The symmetry gains and as well the pleasantness.
Beautiful photo of Gondor (excuse the stupid but I had in mind when I read the title of the photo and I HAD to write it :-D :-D)

I liked especially the conversion with these dark shadows that disappear, following the line of the trees, to the very light gray at the top.
The composition of impact and at least to me brought up at the center where it turns out the shooting problem. In the middle of the eye first he sees the two runners and then the buildings in the distance but neither of them is for me a very interesting subject and shooting becomes meaningless.
The title (which I repeat that for me is often unnecessary), it is not suitable for photos, both for the composition, both in black and white conversion that would in my opinion demanded greater contrast and underscore sapling.

I think the title is inappropriate, since the eye immediately falls on the two central subjects.
The light is not the best, it is rather hard, the sky seems more burned me

Ciao man! Volevi riprendere i runners?

I do not mind, I personally would have taken as a subject the two runners cut down at 16/9, the composition of the trees like so 'but I would have preferred the runners on third right and not at the center. Just b / w colors do not think would improve.

@Maserc

You were very clear. I tried to make a crop as you say, and indeed helps, the two runners are slightly more visible and composition a bit 'more intimate.

The building in the background is the former Battersea power station, one on which Pink Floyd flew a inflatable pig ... unfortunately when wrapped in tarps and scaffolding since they are "renovating" to make it a residential / commercial complex :-(

As already I said for me the eye falls on the runners and then the title seems to me just also appropriate because the birch in question has not recovered in full. Overall the picture is still pleasant and the B & N well executed. Maybe I tried to tighten a bit 'more about the runners.

Hello!
Overall I like the picture, but as some have said there is a bit 'a problem with the subjects: the landscape or are the runners?
Initially I thought it was just a picture landscape and, therefore, the trees with nothing around us were fine ... but then seeing the two runners I am confused.
Alternatively - if it were not for them - I would have darkened the buildings behind the background, just to come up with something more from the landscape.
For the rest of the colors like the black and white conversion is good and also the white tree does not clash at all, indeed.

It's not bad but I would have preferred a shot closer on runners, my eye struggling to find a center of interest.
Good black and white, I would open just a hair shadows in the lower meadow.
