My tripod and I were both standing in flood water this morning to photograph the reflection of this beautifully shaped tree - the line of which is continued by the white cloud! Taken with my wide angle lens, then cropped slightly to improve the composition. I've also posted a mono version and would be interested to know which you prefer. Thanks! Ann :) |

I find both versions very nice though I prefer this b / w This version notono more details that are lost in the color version Vittorio Trovo entrambe le versioni molto belle anche se preferisco questa in b/n In questa versione si notono di più i particolari che nella versione a colori si perdono Vittorio |

OK, I 'thought' I had liked this on my mobile on the bus yesterday, but obviously it didn't work! Rectified now. This subject suits mono wonderfully, good that you thought of it. Has a peaceful tone to it, too. Nice. |

Thank you again, Satish. So good of you to take the time to look at both versions. Ann |

Thanks, Tim. The sunrise was less exciting than I hoped (on account of a large bank of cloud hugging the horizon), so I turned my camera in the opposite direction to this tree that I often photographed in frosty conditions last winter. I find that this kind of sky often works well in mono. |

That bank of dawn cloud broke free, as you'll see with mine from Boscombe, Ann. I didn't look behind me as I was concentrating on what was in front of me! |

Shot well chosen as well as black and white. 8-) Un'inquadratura ben scelta come pure il bianco e nero. |
