La tipica abitazione americana che caratterizza l'area a cavallo tra Arizona e UTAH, ripresa in auto lungo il trasferimento dal Gran Canyon (South Rim) alla Monument Valley. Un'area sterminata e selvaggia in cui i centri abitati (1.000-1.500 abitanti) distano l'uno dall'altro 60-80km e tra di essi, ogni 20-30km, si trova un'abitazione come questa, circondata da ampie lande non antropizzate; non di rado poi queste abitazioni sorgono non a ridosso della Route ma a 2-3km da essa, in pieno deserto.
