Donna della tribu' apatani... in questo viaggio ne abbiamo incontrate molte ma ancora oggi credono che la fotografia gli rubi l' anima e quindi sono molto restie nel farsi fotografare. Non tutte pero' alcune sono curiose e allo stesso tempo allegre e felici di entrare in contatto con persone esterne al villaggio. Quelle piu' anziane portano sul viso tatuaggi e una sorta di tappi nel naso chiamati Yapin hulo. Le donne apatani sono molto belle e molto contese; queste decorazioni facciali venivano praticate per imbruttirle perdendo cosi' l'appetibilita' nei confronti dei Nishi,una tribu' rivale che popola le terre vicine. Sono pratiche e tradizioni che sono scomparse gia' da molti anni ma che conservono ancora nei volti di queste persone la storia e la cultura di un tempo.
