In un angolo di Battersea, sul muraglione del lungofiume, trovo spesso scarpe da ginnastica appese a una catena al livello dell'alta marea. Non so chi lo faccia o perchè. Il "parco calzature" viene rinnovato spesso, in un'occasione ne ho contate una ventina tutte assieme. Ieri ce n'era solo una - una macchia di colore in una giornata cupa e grigia.
