Caltagirone è nota al mondo come la città del Presepe animato. Ho avuto la fortuna di visitarla il 22 Dicembre in pieno clima natalizio: si contavano, fra pubblici e privati, più di 25 presepi delle fogge e ambientazioni più varie. Sono costruiti nelle chiese,nelle canoniche ma, soprattutto, in grotte e scantinati dove il realismo si avvantaggia della particolare location. La maggior parte sono tradizionali, pur sempre animati, ma non mancano quelli "alternativi", come il presepe fatto con migliaia e migliaia di pezzi di lego,quello assemblato in un acquario, quello fatto esclusivamente di cotone idrofilo,ed infine questo ambientato in una 500 d'epoca! Lo trovo particolare,fantasioso e ve lo propongo (purtroppo i vuoti degli sportelli, rimossi, della 500 sono stati chiusi con plastica trasparente molto spessa, che non ha favorito la nitidezza complessiva). Va tenuto presente che lo scatto è a mano libera dato che non era consentito,anche per motivi di spazio, l'uso del treppiede.
