Walhalla - tempio neoclassico nei pressi di Ratisbona su una collina che domina sul Danubio, fu progettato da Leo von Klenze che aveva vinto il concorso del 1814. I primi progetti avevano 1819 e 182, ma i lavori furono ultimati tra il 1930 e 1942. L'aspetto del monumento è un tempio periptero in stile dorico simile al Partenone con delle ampie scale, il monumento fu voluto dal re Ludovico I di Baviera che volle un'architettura di tradizione nordica del Valhalla, luogo in cui si riunivano le anime degli eroi deceduti in guerra.
