Christmas Morning, 5.30 a.m. - after midnight mass and an early start for Salisbury Cathedral today, Christmas Day. The Cathedral Close stayed open all night, allowing me to get in with my little FreeBe tripod and less wide lens than I would usually use. The interior lights have just come on, but unlike dusk, the floodlighting is not on. The ambient reddish light is from the city's streetlamp pollution, mixed with time exposure and some moisture in the air. Trying a 30 sec exposure with floodlighting would result in vast overexposure. Huge amounts of vertical distortion correction.
