Foto scattata nella riserva naturale di Ranthambore, Rajasthan. Ero in cerca della tigre e d invece mi sono dedicato ai volatili, questo esemplare è un uccello invasivo; I bulbul dal sottocoda rosso possono causare gravi danni alla colture ortofrutticole ed attaccano anche gli altri uccelli per questo il Ministry for Primary Industries/Manat Ahu Matua (Mpi), il Department of Conservation/Te Papa Atawhai (Doc) e l'Auckland Council/ Te Kaunihera o Tmaki Makaurau (la regione della "super City" di Auckland). stanno lavorando insieme per monitorare ed eradicare prima possibile il Pycnonotus cafer. Il Pycnonotus cafer è una delle specie di uccelli più invasive al mondo e in Nuova Zelanda è elencato come organismo indesiderato nel Biosecurity Act 1993 e i neozelandesi non scherzano quando c'è da far rispettare una legge: la pena massima per l'importazione, il commercio, il rilascio, l'esibizione o l'allevamento un bulbul dal sottocoda rosso è di 5 anni di carcere o in alternativa una multa di 100.000 dollari.
