This tree isn't quite as big and wonderful in real life, using the 10-24mm at the wide end and getting in close, makes it look bigger and better! (As is waiting til it's quite dark, - if you notice, I even had a moon with me). And waiting until today allowed a clearing sky, so worth it. |

The clear weather came in from the north and west and will only last a few hours. I'd normally be up for the Stonehenge Winter Solstice first thing in the morning but feeling as bad I do and with damp weather back by then, I have serious doubts. For the first time, there's a limited bus service to and from and so I can make use of that should I feel up to it. |
