Francesco, concordo con quanto hai detto ma non sul fatto che questo scatto sia tecnicamente scarso ; è al contrario ottimo. Lo svasso cornuto sverna abitualmente in Italia e spero di poterlo fotografare al meglio come te in abito invernale; paradossalmente le uniche foto che ho di questo soggetto sono in quello riproduttivo (circostanza fortunata sul Garda).
Francis, I agree with what you say but that this shooting is technically poor :-); It is otherwise excellent. Horned grebe winters regularly in Italy and I hope to photograph the most like you in winter dress; paradoxically the only photo I have of this subject are in the reproductive (fortunate circumstance sul Garda). Ringrazio tutti per il passaggio e gli apprezzamenti. Per Francesco ( quando si vedono sul Garda ?): poco dettaglio nei bianchi nella parte posteriore anche per insufficiente pdc ma non ho potuto chiudere di più; lo sharpening è un pò eccessivo ma è stato necessario per recuperare un pò di dettaglio. Ciò detto sono comunque abbastanza soddisfatto del risultato. Un saluto

Nel Garda è svernante comune ma poco diffuso, generalmente tra Torri del Benaco e Riva del Garda sul versante orientale, che è quello che conosco. Nella mailing list di VR_BW è stato segnalato tre giorni or sono (19-XII) nello stesso posto in cui ho fotografato anni addietro l'individuo in abito riproduttivo, Dusano del Garda in riva occidentale. La speranza naturalmente è che si fermi ancora una volta abbastanza e mi conceda un'ulteriore possibilità.
Garda is wintering in common but not widespread, generally between Torri del Benaco and Riva del Garda on the eastern side, which is what I know.
