This spider usually lives near the surface of the earth in dry sandy and clayed regions with short vegetative cover. It spins thick wooly untidy webs, and hides in a funnel-shaped tunnel around the web. This spider usually spins its web among and Buxaceae, in the corner of the walls or among the rods, and a large number of them could be found close together. The male ones are 8-12 mm long, and the female ones are 9-20 mm long.
