Ahahah no non stava affondando, anzi! Quando ho scattato mi trovavo sul lago Retba, o lago rosa, noto per essere uno dei laghi più salati al mondo (con una salinità del 40%!).
L'uomo è un "pescatore di sale" senegalese: si stava immergendo nell'acqua per raccoglierlo con le mani, e il lungo bastone gli serviva per rompere la crosta di sale che si era formata sul lago!

Hahaha no not sinking at all! When I shoot I was on the lake Retba, or pink lake, known for being one of the saltiest lakes in the world (with a salinity of 40%!).
The man is a "fisher of salt" Senegal: he was dipping into the water to pick it up with your hands, and the long pole he used to break the crust of salt that had formed on the lake! ;-) ciao abayal, grazie!

Probabilmente il lago e' secondo solo al mar morto in Palestina. La spiegazione arricchisce ulteriormente la fotografia. Grazie, ciaoo

@Spacecarletto è mossa..mi trovavo su una piroga in movimento, e purtroppo non sono riuscita a fare di meglio! 
é un peccato, magari un giorno ci tornerò da più esperta e riuscirò a rimediare! Grazie comunque per il commento!

@Abayal sì il lago è meraviglioso, soprattutto a mezzogiorno quando il sole alto permette alle alghe di esprimere al meglio il colore. Anche il Mar Morto immagino sia stupendo, spero di fotografarlo un giorno! 
Abayal Ensure the lake is wonderful, especially at noon when the sun is high enable algae to better express the color.
