Endemic to the island of Fuerteventura, where it occupies rocky slopes and ravines, with scattered shrubs chatterbox. Its population in decline, not over a thousand pairs, so the species is considered endangered. This time it is a male photographed on a sea buckthorn (Lycium intricatum) at first light in the morning
