It 'a great city, I've been there once and I also I left my heart ... I hope to return soon, perhaps when the "child" is a bit' a little older ... ;-)
PS How are you with Nikon? I see that very purpose 20 1.8.
I chose Sigma 24Art as wide.

Paul, Luke and Stephanie, because of the passage and very welcome comments :-)

Fausto: With Nikon I'm finding it very well, this was the second trip I've done since I left Canon and I must say that I have almost definitely accustomed to Nikon.
As I wrote in other topic it was tough leaving 24L II (which was my absolute favorite lens), as it was not easy to miss the color rendering Canon to which I was very attached.
But as I said now I got used almost entirely, and also on the opposite colors I found my inner peace understood as having "action" on NEF to get the results you want ;-)

About 20 1.8G I find really a great lens on the D810 is sharpSSIMA the center and clear enough to the extreme edges of the frame; It has a starry very pleasant (for me important), good resistance to flare and above is very light. They can say what they want that aesthetically is a bit '"economic" but I assure you 350gr backpack are almost imperceptible, and when you travel a lot with backpacking is a feature to be taken seriously ;-)
Now I am observing with great interest the 24mm 1.8G of which all are talking about it really well, I'd love to try and understand what is resolving 20 1.8G reiterate that in any case already widely satisfy me.

You rather, as you are 24 ART?

Changing the way people work, from Nikon to Canon, I understand. But you get used to and in the end there is more even notice.
20 1.8G I only tried for a few days, I was almost decided to take it. Then I opted for 24Art ...
In terms of sharpness, the Sigma is best, especially at the edges.
Higher even as regards the blurred ... keep in mind though that weighs twice as Nikon. But I do not regret the choice. Moreover, I have the D810. When I decided to return to Nikon, I opted for the D750. So are lighter in body machine ... ;-)

It 's true you get used to and most importantly, as I had guessed before the passage opens up new perspectives in creative objectively first in Canon, I do not mean that they were unattainable, but definitely required more invasive techniques that do not appreciate (multiple exposures, layer mask etc ...). With the D810 I repeat that I am using always and only a single exposure taken with certain criteria. I use more filters to the plate in the light conditions particularly tough or when I need to frame the sun at dawn but on many occasions I could not even help it.

Anyway I'm glad to know that the 24 ART behave well; surely sooner or later one of the 35 or 50 ART will end in purchases ... I'm sure of: -D
