con Canon EF 2.0x III, 1/1600 f/9.0, ISO 1000, hand held. Yellowstone National Park, United States.

Osprey - falco pescatore. Dall'ultimo viaggio GrandiViaggiFotografici a Yellowstone. Ci siamo appostati per diversi minuti in attesa di qualche bello scatto a questa coppia di falchi pescatori. Stavano covando 3 uova. Di tanto in tanto il maschio rientrava "alla base". In questo caso con un grosso ramo. Lo ha posato e con pazienza, e facendosi aiutare dalla compagna, lo hanno rotto, tolto i rametti più piccoli ed adattato al nido. E' stata sicuramente una bella scena. La coppia era molto lontano dal nostro punto di ripresa (un percorso sul bordo del canyon) ho dovuto infatti montare la 7d mk II con il 400 2.8 e moltiplicatore 2x (tot.1280mm) per riempire abbastanza il frame. Il maschio girava intorno al nido da diversi minuti e nei precedenti atterraggi, arrivava sempre dalla destra. Ho deciso di comporre col nido a sinistra ed aspettare l'arrivo, sperando non cambiasse il lato di atterraggio. Un saluto a tutti, Ale
