Mi trovavo nel tratto che collega l'antichissima Chiesa di Santa Maria in Valle Porclaneta e il borgo di Rosciolo (AQ) e, mentre riscendevo con la macchina, nella boscaglia sulla destra, ho avvistato un maestoso esemplare di Cervo, un maschio adulto. Ero con mia moglie e mio figlio che alla vista dell'animale si sono zittiti all'istante. Spenta di colpo l'auto e aperto il finestrino, ho afferrato al volo la mia Canon, ho buttato il tappo da qualche parte e ho cominciato a scattare una serie di foto da dentro l'auto attraverso il varco del finestrino. Poi, dopo qualche secondo, il Re, forse un pò infastidito, si è spostato verso valle. Sono sceso a piedi lungo la strada e poco dopo è riapparso sul ciglio della stessa e mi ha guardato un attimo mentre lo immortalavo in questa foto... il mio sguardo attraverso il mirino fisso nei suoi occhi incredibili. Poi ha attraversato la carreggiata a passo lento, fiero, sicuro, per sparire silenzioso nel bosco. Grazie all'assenza di nebbia a quella quota, al sole radente, al fatto di avere a portata di mano la reflex e a tanta, tanta fortuna, ho potuto realizzare un sogno di foto che sembrava irraggiungibile ma che la buona sorte stavolta ha deciso di regalarmi e che per me vale una stagione intera di scatti!!! Sono ancora emozionato! Questa foto la dedico alla mia famiglia e a tutti coloro che seguono e amano questo meravigliosa passione per la fotografiai! Buona luce a tutti !!!
