Lungo il percorso, un sentiero ben tracciato e sempre pulito, si incontrano tre stazioni che fungono da tappe durante le processioni religiose e dalle quali, affacciandosi ai balconi naturali, si può ammirare un panorama davvero incredibile sulla valle dell'Irno. Solo dalla vetta si ha una visione a 360° su gran parte della Campania: di fronte all'ingresso del santuario appare, quando il cielo è limpido, il Vesuvio col Monte Somma; voltando lo sguardo a destra si incontra il massiccio del Partenio, e ai piedi si vede parte della città di Solofra; a sinistra, invece, appare Salerno ed il suo golfo; alle spalle, infine, un'immensa distesa di curve verdi, sono i Monti Piacentini.
