Questi aironi sono veramente spietati e in fase di caccia sono talmente concentrati nel cogliere l'attimo della cattura che se non ti muovi troppo riesci a fotografarli ad una distanza non troppo elevata (questa foto è stata scattata a circa 30 metri di distanza). Purtroppo la luce era scarsa, il sole era già tramontato e la foto è un pò rumorosa e nonostante sia intervenuto sulla riduzione del rumore in Camera Raw non sono riuscito a fare meglio, senza perdere dettaglio ovviamente. Sono invece contento che nonostante gli iso elevati la D800 abbia mantenuto una ottima fedeltà cromatica.
