Sostengo da sempre che ogni foto deve essere misurata, prima che dal paesaggio che rappresenta o dalla tecnica più o meno perfetta con la quale è realizzata, dalla sua capacità di trasmettere emozioni. Sì, perché una foto non è la realtà, ma una sua interpretazione da parte di chi l'ha scattata e, se l'ha scattata in quel modo, è perché in lui generava un'emozione, estetica o di altri sentimenti.
Per quanto riguarda l'effetto "volo", razionalmente ti rimando alla mia risposta qui sopra al commento di Paolo P, emotivamente credo che ogni foto fa alzare da terra, di qualche metro o di qualche chilometro, chi la sta scattando e se riesce a far volare "idealmente" anche chi la guarda, allora è anche una bella foto.
Tutte le foto, emotivamente parlando, sono belle per chi le ha scattate.
