A feast for the eyes! I like so much snow in the foreground for the colors, the light, the composition, the choice you made between surely many other piles of snow :-)

One click very interesting, reading the caption I see that you wanted to play between the hot and cold sensations, maybe in the sky warm tone is a bit 'high ;-), to assess a slight opening of the shadows on the summit

Thanks a lot both in Magu, Claudio and Sergio! :-)

Claudio: you maybe by dint of playing with contrasts the summit has become a bit 'dark, the risistemeró! As for the warm tone, I think we can stay here but maybe you go on personal taste, I like the strong contrasts: -D

A greeting and thanks again! Leonardo

Really a wonderful image.
I really like the vertical cut that enhances well the entire composition, the sky, beautiful in color and movement,
the warm reflections on the frozen surface of the lake and the sprinkling of snow on the trees.

Simple and beautiful! Honestly I prefer to more of your work a bit 'too elaborate for my taste. Not that I am opposed to the development, but a photo, when it nice and has a good composition like this, does not need much more! ;-)
If I can afford only a technical note, with hindsight, the clouds have lifted a bit '... "undecided". Surely an exposure time much longer it would return a better dynamic.

Thank you very much to both Mary that Alberto!
Alberto: it clouds are really moves slightly, and in all honesty is moved not wanted; unfortunately during shooting by the camera display seemed to stand still, and instead! They moved very quickly, I should have thought to further shorten the time! :-(

Greetings, Leonardo

Leonardo ... Excellent Good composition, good pdr ... you have not done mica shots where you took the valley and the ridge above the lake ??? I was curious to see what you had taken. I think I was there a few days after you, but I could not pull off much inserting ridge, lake and valley above. Surely you've done something better .... ;-)
Not that they are very practical, but a shot at night with the frozen lake interested me go and try. Now that you're a super expert, you say that it's worth it ???

Hi Davide! Soon also put other shots, the lake have taken from various angles, I have just a moment to affect them, and I will publish them!
Thank you very much for the compliments, I still have to improve a lot actually! :-)
As for the pictures at night on the frozen lake, is a shot I have in mind for a few months and certainly at the beginning of the new year, when the Milky Way will start again to be back in heaven (March / April, should also coincide with the dissolution Snow rule) will definitely go up again to try something .. The only unknown factor remains the position of the Milky Way to the lake; I have not checked which way is!

Greetings, Leonardo
