A prima vista, fin dall'esterno, è impossibile non notare il marcato stile tardo barocco della Cupola Juvarriana della Basilica di Superga che ricorda, in piccolo, la cupola di Michelangelo a San Pietro. L'interno, concepito come un vasto e luminosissimo invaso, è solenne ed a pianta circolare ed è sormontato dalla cupola a doppia volta, sorretta da otto colonne e illuminata da otto finestroni.
