I was photographing up to 11pm at night and am SO tired now, Ann. The two pro's each had ten grand's worth of gear EACH and I just had two average lenses. This is much more important in the low light of the church interior and at the candlelit reception in an old beamed ceiling barn out in the country (somewhere).
But it certainly was an eye opener and an experience, both personally and photographically was one that I will remember and cherish for a long time. More images will be posted - over 1,000 taken, 40% deleted and so I haven't looked at many properly yet. It was a BIG wedding, 500 guests, for my first ever wedding, talk about being thrown in at the deep end, Ann! |

The pro's were flown in specially from Manchester and in the barn, they were shooting at 10,000 iso, on 6,000 pound cameras, with f1.2 lenses, as routine! I was having to make do with 2,000 iso, as my rather old camera now, struggles with noise above that. Ironically, with Juza, the woman in this husband and wife team was Italian. |
