Rimango sempre affascinato nell' osservare i rituali hindu sempre diversi l' uno dall' altro. Puja in sanscrito significa venerazione ed è un rituale dedicato ad una delle numerose divinità che comprende offerte, mantra, canti, azioni rituali ed offerte per mostrare la propria devozione. Ci sono puja per festeggiare alcuni passaggi cruciali nella vita di una persona come l'assegnazione del nome, le fasi della crescita, il primo ciclo mestruale, matrimonio, funerale etc, per ottenere benedizioni quando si intraprende qualcosa di importante nella propria vita etc.. Le puja più brevi si svolgono in almeno cinque passi, durante i quali vengono offerti acqua, luce (fuoco di candela), incenso, fiori e cibo mentre normalmente si svolgono in sedici passi.................................................................COMPAGNI DI VIAGGIO Gujarat dal 8 al 24 Gennaio. Si tratta di un viaggio completamente dedicato alle popolazioni e, grazie all' esperienza di uno dei più grandi esperti di India tribale che verrà con noi, vedremo le tribù più interessanti andando a scovare anche i villaggi meno conosciuti.
