Ciao Ricki, grazie del commento, era stata una giornata a dir poco infernale, spostandomi tra crossing del Mara River, kill di cheeta, buffali che caricavano i leoni, temporale pomeridiano....avevo le mani indolenzite a forza di girare il volante......e finalmente la pace ....una serata con un tiepido sole che tramontava e questo leone che ere quasi dispiaciuto di lasciare il suo gruppo. Ma come si sà .....all'istinto non si comanda e alla fine e sceso dall'altra parte.
Ho visto che sei stato in Namibia, come è andata????

Hello Ricki, thanks for the comment, the day had been nothing short of infernal, moving between crossing the Mara River, kill the cheeta, buffalo that charged the lions, temporal afternoon .... my hands were aching to force to turn the steering wheel. and finally ..... peace .... an evening with a warm setting sun and the lion ere almost sorry to leave his group. But as one knows ..... instinct can not control and in the end come down the other side.

Dire che è andata bene è poco, l'immensità, i colori, i profumi, la gente e gli animali che abbiamo incontrato in questo viaggio fatto in due è una cosa che mi resterà dentro ... amo l'africa e la loro gente, non vedo l'ora di tornare !!!

E' il mio primo Safari in solitaria, non sono a quota 36 come te, però avrò qualche bel scatto ...

To say that it went well it's not, the immensity, the colors, the smells, the people and the animals that we encountered on this trip in two is something that I will be there ... I love Africa and its people, I can not wait to go back!

Tranquillo ...vedrai che gli scatti ci sono e casomai saranno le tue emozioni e sensazioni che ti resteranno dentro a farti capire quanto importante è stato un viaggio.
Poi guarda che la nostra differenza è solo anagrafica ..... pensa a quanti giri farai prima di arrivare a 49 anni.....hai tutto il tempo a disposizione.

Ciao Gianluca, le ho fatte a settembre 2009. Visto che se venuto con me a settembre 2011 ti indico il luogo magari ti viene in mente, visto che ci siamo passati. La direzione è dal nostro campo verso Ol Kiombo, un km circa dopo il luogo da cui si vedono partire, di sfondo, i palloni dal Fig Tree Camp. la collinetta del leone è quella che sei costretto a girare a dx e tornare indietro fino al punto dove devi passare una buca ormai abbastanza profonda ma corta che con il LandCruiser lungo tocchi quasi sempre un pochino il posteriore uscendone, credo la ricorderai, perchè ci siamo fermati e sono smontato a controllare quanta acqua era rimasta sul fondo.

Hello Gianluca, I did in September 2009. Because if came with me in September 2011, you point to the place maybe you can think of, as we passed. The direction is from our camp at Ol Kiombo, about a kilometer after the place from which you can see from, background, balls from Fig Tree Camp. the hill of the lion is the one that you are forced to turn right and go back to the point where you have to pass a hole deep enough now but a short one with the long LandCruiser touches almost always a little bit the rear emerged, I remember it, because we stopped and dismounted to check how much water was left on the bottom.
