In questi giorni sto definendo il viaggio in Gujarat i Gennaio ed sorpresa, grazie ad un cambio di voli, oggi ho reinserito la possibilità di fermarsi a Mumbai e così sono andato ad aprire alcuni degli scatti che avevo fatto durante la mia fugace visita ad Aprile. Non fugace per la mancanza di tempo ma perché la guida sembrava terrorizzato all' idea di stare a lungo dentro allo slum, soprattutto temeva che fosse un problema entrare nello slum con la macchina fotografica al collo..... Invece, nulla ti tutto questo !! il fascino del Dharavi Slum, il più grande dell' Asia, è unico e le persone, come quasi sempre in India, sono di una disponibilità più unica che rara... Basta fermarsi ed incrociare lo sguardo con queste persone che vivono in 5 in una casa di 10 metri quadrati e che lavorano tutto il giorno in condizione spesso oltre il limite riciclando qualsiasi tipo di materiale per rimanerne conquistati !! Qualcuno in questi gironi ha scritto che postando certe foto si specula sulle disgrazie di persone così povere da perdere persino la dignità cosa che, avendo incontrate persone poverissime in varie parti del mondo posso dire che non è vero... Poi è stato detto che quello che si intendeva dire era che sono le foto, scelte appositamente per mostrare una condizione sfortunata a mostrare un soggetto senza dignità ma per la mia esperienza, se si interagisce anche se per soli secondi con questi soggetti, si amano! ed è impossibile trattarli come esseri umani senza orgoglio o dignità. SI provano emozioni così forti e vere, a partire dal rispetto, che poi si riflettono inevitabilmente sulle foto e sul modo di riproporle........................................................................COMPAGNI DI VIAGGIO Gujarat dal 9 al 24 Gennaio. Si tratta di un viaggio completamente dedicato alle popolazioni e, grazie all' esperienza di uno dei più grandi esperti di India tribale che verrà con noi, vedremo le tribù più interessanti andando a scovare anche i villaggi meno conosciuti.
