hello Cristina
not a panoramista ... really I am not! in any kind :-) cmq ... I like a lot, I find the picture very natural, no push to get warm or golden images, the fog has its distinctive gray sunk in the residue of the night ... the dawn It is beautiful.

Thanks a lot guys pass, glad you enjoyed this vision a bit 'alternative to this river.

I find the picture very natural
Flavio, is the best compliment I could get me: I have increased the saturation temperature or, rather, I tried to correct certain dominant cyan on the fog but I do not know if we are successful, and if It is correct to do so.

good day to all!

It seems that the fog, like a fluid sea evanescent, have invaded the landscape trap it in an embrace ethereal. A valid photo.

I'm not a panoramista

congratulations to Flaber neologism baked -D
Jokes aside, I instead have a super expert panoramiwow! wow! wow! -D Can not find it just natural.
considering the situation of light and color of the sky (by the way very nice) I would expect a minimum of dominant on nebbia.mi seems almost a picture desaturated of all vallata.tu same say you correct the blue cast on fog .. (by the way you remained patchy some magenta) Well I would have just left, maybe even slightly heated and introduced some yellow or orange to give coherence and tie it with the sky.
Else, but less obvious, the brightness of the fog, it seems to me that far too much is almost clear skyitself mainly in the central area.
well I'm done I hope I have not bored anyone, just only my feelings and since you asked I wanted to be more precise as possible.
a greeting
Simone

Hello Cristina, I'll be as honest and quoto fully the Commissioner, if I told you I like I'd be lying. It looks like one of those bad experiments with pictures in BW are the color (in my opinion really embarrassing photos and unrealistic). The location of the best with shafts of light and fog, the light here is flat, the sky seems desaturated, the central part of the whole grayscale and color just mentioned in the trees at the bottom DX. I do not want to controversy because the forum has been going well and sooner or later I will have to do with reason, but really do not understand, beyond the friendship that is deleterious to photographic criticism, so much enthusiasm for a picture with several shortcomings of implementation. By the way I am also a friend of Cristina but she knows me and knows that I always say bread bread and wine wine.
Next timein ideal weather conditions you there myself up there. ;-)

Thank you all again for being passed here and Simone for spending time with his explanation, it was exactly what I needed to know! You immediately saw the flaws that I mentioned and that I have held for days by posting pictures ... but I really needed to understand what was wrong and I finally proposed with a sincere request for help.
I explain that I've done in the post: I tried to act selectively on the increasing raw some 'clarity and contrast. This emphasized the dominant purple present on all the fog with the naked eye just do not remember having felt so to remedy, I acted (at random since we do not know how to use them: - |) on the sliders of various colors but I could not to control them as I wanted ... because I had three different opizioni for each color (luminance ...) and did not know which one to choose.
I fear that the fill globale on the haze is due to this mess.
Try again trying to preserve a more natural light without the glare of the dawn disappear ... the problem is that the post I just attempts spannometrici, urgent course !! Thanks again

Paul, now I only read your comment because I was writing in my turn to Simon to agree with him! (With the smartphone use an hour to write: - |)

By the way I am also a friend of Cristina but she knows me and knows that I always say bread bread and wine wine.
And this time I am very happy to hear from you !! And since you know me, you know that I do not want anything but sincere criticism, especially because they are not recognized in photographic circles and I have no other way to learn than comparing them here on the forum.
I wrote the steps that I have done in post, I see to retake the shot, hoping to improve it.
Next time in optimal weather conditions I'll take you up there.
I take that as a commitment !!!

Hello dear Cristina! :-P
Ummm sorry but, basically, I share the views expressed by Simon and Paul.
Also I think the vision appear flat and emotionally uncommunicative.
Who knows, maybe you can convince your dad to get the company back on a morning and once back with your booty ;-) address the development of the files in a more "rational" and less "spannometrico". -D
A hug!
Michela

The scene was certainly very challenging, Paul Simon, and you have said it all, there is no standard way to handle the situation, we must follow the light, in this case I think there might be fog on a dominant hot due to the reflection of the sky and in the cold parts in shadow, were harmonized, compositionally I might have avoided the construction right ;-)
I have no other way to learn than comparing them here on the forum.

Okay but no, the net you will find many suggestions to improve technically but also a strong push for approval, turn exhibit and read good books is purely photographic essays is a great help ;-)
Best wishes!

I'm not a panoramista -D: -D and ask the most 'experts would help if maybe wait a while' before you take, like, a half hour, an hour ... I do not know ... you say ?
