spotted eagle owl(bubo africanus)un gufo di dimensioni medio grandi piuttosto comune ma come tutti gli strigiformi non facile da vedere.se non avesse voltato la testa verso di noi non lo avremmo mai visto.gli strigiformi non solo si mimetizzano per colore ma sono usi a fermarsi in zone dove il prolungamento del loro corpo sia poco visibile.la foto è fatta a distanza,il soggetto non tollerava avvicinamenti e purtroppo dei rami hanno disturbato il fuoco.resta però uno dei miei soggetti favoriti per cui nella mia galleria troverà sempre posto.sabie sands,great kruger.scatto a mano libera
