Hello Manu, as soon as I saw them I thought about how you might like to see run on the right and left and up the trees these three jokers. It 'was a welcome confirmation, the same female three years ago we had 5 puppies in the same area, when I saw them I was a little smaller than these. I do not know if they took all five independence. The night we heard the roaring lion that I started to look just at dawn, but the rain fell in abundance until the day before in the whole area of ??Mara did not allow me to move in all areas. A nice group of 16 elephants allows us to hope that they return to frequent the area, unfortunately killing by poachers of three of them, made them turn off in the last 4 months ...... and then say that are not smart!!

Hello Roberto, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, the "new" poachers they did change, move with the bikes to the tracks in order to be less visible and appear normal people who move from one village to another. Use a large backpack which fit the classic small bow and poisoned arrows, hit the elephants and follow them to the point where they fall, with several tools, from the panga to small chainsaws and cut off their tusks in size to fit in your backpack and leave with the bike. In this way they can, unfortunately, to be swift and effective without making it feel so much to see. The only help we can give is to talk about it as much as possible and condemn this type of activity and boycott any purchase of pieces of ivory.
Ciaoo and thanks

Stefano

Hello Stephen I really like the simplicity of this shot, simple as that photos must tell a low voice without shouting ... congratulations.
