Casier , Parco naturale del fiume Sile, 4-10-2015. Consiglio passeggiata ! A Casier iniziano le tipiche passerelle in legno, ponticelli eretti su palafitte tra zone di escavazione del fiume, proprio dove il Sile diventa largo e tranquillo. Tra canne e alti falaschi, compaiono i 'burci', le grandi barche che venivano usate per il trasporto delle granaglie. Relitti sprofondati e insabbiati di archeologia industriale che fanno la gioia degli uccelli e dei pesci che hanno eletto a paradiso questo tratto del Sile. Ancora un paio di chilometri e si giunge davanti alla chiesa di Casier, addossata a un pugno di case. Al piccolo porto attraccati grappoli di barche che provengono dalla foce del Sile, da Venezia. Cigni, folaghe e tuffetti sono gli indiscussi signori del fiume.
