MrGreenMrGreen tranquillo apprezzo l'ironia ;)

Confuso

-D: -D Quiet appreciate the irony;)

I was not aware of this allambicco magical !! I assume, however, that you lose autofocus ...

There are various types, some allow you to keep the autofocus, or so say the producers

It depends on what goals the mountains.
Some adapters allow Sony to have autofocus with Canon optics.
In my case, you lose any automatism but not much I'd use them so much interest me. Adapters Canon (body) / Nikon (optical) allow the maximum to activate the signaling of the fire in the car, no autofocus. Canon bodies on the exposure, even if not precise, remains active in the mode 'Av working obviously stopped down (close the aperture to calculate exposure) with all manual lenses.
As for your specific question of lenses and the answer '... it depends. From Canon, to use a lens must be able to allow this to act on the manual iris ring. The optics Nikon Type G have no aperture ring and thus less special ringsit is not possible to open the iris. Optical compatible to allow you to open the diaphragm must follow the same principle as the old lenses.
