Morì a ventiquattro anni, poco dopo la fine di una partita tra il Torino, la squadra in cui militava,e la seconda squadra di Genova , investito da un'auto mentre attraversava Corso Re Umberto a Torino insieme al suo grande amico e compagno di squadra Fabrizio Poletti. Ha disputato 145 partite in Serie A, realizzando 29 reti. Nel GENOA gioco' 2 stagioni realizzando 7 reti, poi dopo un'inutile petizione popolare per trattenerlo, fu ceduto...come spesso e' accaduto nella centenaria storia del Genoa. UNA FEDE, UN MITO,UN AMORE INFINITO ! Forza Genoa sempre !
