At the end of a LONG 9 hour walk around the north east parts of the New Forest yesterday.
Like my 'New Forest Mare Drinks' Juza entry, as I was taking this pond sunset reflection, this yearling mare walked into the frame and so she then became my photo. I had to quickly get on my knees and elbows (a wet muddy terrain) to get the silhouette against the sky - and then to get the water all the way down to the bottom of the frame, had to shuffle myself forward to within a few cm of the water's edge!
The pony then turned away and the moment of magic was lost - and I then had to walk for an hour to get the last bus home.
