I used the Canon 20From I had in 2015 (now I have a Canon 60Da) with telephoto Nikon 300 ED f/4.5 (an excellent vintage apochromatic with manual focus) on frame Celestron CG5 without a guide.
The fast focal ratio of the telephoto lens (f/4.5) allowed me to limit the laying time within the possibilities of the unguided CG5, while still precepting to discard a 25% of the individual frames due to the inaccurate pursuit. The dark sky of Lignan (Aosta) obviously helped.

Ho utilizzato la Canon 20Da che avevo nel 2015 (ora ho una Canon 60Da) con teleobiettivo Nikon 300 ED f/4.5 (un eccellente apocromatico vintage con messa a fuoco manuale) su montatura Celestron CG5 senza guida.
Il veloce rapporto focale del teleobiettivo (f/4.5) mi ha permesso di contenere i tempi di posa entro le possibilità della CG5 non guidata, acettando comunque di scartare un 25% dei singoli fotogrammi a causa dell'inseguimento impreciso. Il cielo scuro di Lignan (Aosta) ovviamente ha aiutato.
