WOW....avevo letto e cercato di reperire materiale per autocostruire anche io uno specchio per telescopi....ma non dovresti usare due dischi di vetro identici?
Certo muovere un disco da 80 cm e magari 100 kg non sarebbe facile....

Bella impresa....si adesso che ne lo ricordi avevo letto anche del metodo che state usando voi....con i due dischi gemelli il disco utensile è quello sotto...dove l'avete reperita la polvere abrasiva?...Carborundum giusto? io me fermai perchè non riuscivo a reperirla da nessuna parte...ma all'epoca ancora non esisteva il WEB!

Lo sbozzo è stato acquistato già a misura, già scavato per intenderci, a mano viene fatta "solo" la parte di lucidatura e correzione....ergo niente abrasivi, solo ossidi.
The blank has been purchased already measure, already dug for instance, is done by hand "only" part of buffing and correction .... ergo anything abrasive, only oxides.
