Di fatto guardando la sequenza di ripresa in velocità, 30 scatti, si nota un movimento di fondo di deriva, che ha una componente sia in AR che in Dec, ma ben poca cosa, che ritengo sia da imputare ad un non perfetto allineamento polare, ma il grosso del movimento è.....oscillatorio con ritorno al punto di partenza con una frequenza (devo essere sincero non sono stato li a fare calcoli, è una stima) che va dagli 8 ai 10 minuti..... il PEC mannaggia! Non è affatto trascurabile. Sulla Takahashi EM200 era praticamente inavvertibile, qui è molto molto importante.

Questo fra l'altro diventa comodo quando per esempio non hai il polo visibile. Te la faccio breve. Questa modalità di puntamento è ovviamente soggetta ad errori. Più volte ripeti questa funzione più in teoria riduci l'errore. In realtà il sistema dopo ogni allineamento assistito ti dice quant'è l'errore e sulla base di questo decidi se ripetere o meno la funzione. L'ho provato e direi che non è affatto male. Il problema invece della traccia è l'errore periodico della vite senza fine che dal primo test eseguito è risultato piuttosto importante. Nel breve farò altre prove e poi ti dico. Voglio capire quanto si abbatte con la funzione PEC, che la montatura prevede in modalità permanente.
Non escluderei che la tua iOptron abbia invece una buona correzione !!!

Facendo il paragone con la piccola montatura che avevo, la SmartEQ Pro GotoNova, aveva bisogno almeno di 2 allineamenti oltre che la Polare, anzi, iOptron spronava a farne ben 3 per assicurare la massima precisione possibile, perche a differenza delle altre montature astroinseguitrici, montava ingranaggi molto più piccoli e quindi non precisi. Con lo SkayTracker basta allineare solo la Polare e per essere più precisi in occasione di pose più lunghe, di centrare quel pallino nella scala interna del crocicchio in base all'ora dell'equinozio, cosa che non mai fatto perchè non ho mai superato i 4 minuti. Probabilmente a me servirà cambiare addirittura sistema, e cioè usare una buona montatura come la EQ6 GoTo con allineamento a una stella, l'handicap maggiore per lo SkyTracker è il treppiede per supportarlo, anche se di buona qualità come il Manfrotto, niente ha a che vedere con il treppiede di acciaio di una montatura EQ6 e relativo triangolo. Mi è nato il dubbio se cedere alla tentazione di procurarmi lo Star Adventurer che oltre ad avere l'Ascensione Retta ha anche la Declinazione, ma mancando di treppiede torno allo stesso problema di prima e cioè a quello della stabilità... ecco perchè a questo punto è meglio una EQ6, visto che di tubi non ne monterò mai, al massimo un sistema di autoguida connesso alla reflex tramite la Lacerta MGEN stand alone.

Come sai il mio problema era il peso. La AZ-EQ6 è leggermente meno pesante della TakaEm200 e per me sarebbe stato cambiare poco, per questo motivo sono andato sulla "5". Se fai il passaggio alla "6" credo sia un'ottima scelta.
Nel scegliere la "5" purtroppo (dico purtroppo perchè la soluzione treppiede con colonna che si ripiega su se stesso è molto comoda in termine di spazio) mi è rimasto in mano il "flessibile". Stretto ha stretto, ma poi non ha più mollato!!!
Ho deciso così di cambiare, la soluzione "base" per me non è da ritenersi affidabile, e dovendo scegliere ho optato per il treppiede della EQ6, non il tradizionale della EQ5, adattata con una flangia della Geoptik. Stabilità tutta un'altra cosa
E guarda un po'.... sto andando sulla LacertaMgen2!!!
